Bills Bills Bills...

There’s always an excuse to eat out whether it’s birthdays, overdue meet ups, spontaneous dinners or when you just can't be bothered to cook and need some girly time (our favourite!).

We grew out of the whole clubbing/raving scene 'prematurely' so restaurants became our thing pretty early in our teenage years. It’s cheeky for us to even say 'restaurants' because in all honesty we frequented TGI Fridays, Nandos and Pizza Hut - fancy huh? Joking! But you've got to start somewhere right?

Flavours & Fun?...

CoCo Bamboo
48 Chalk Farm Road
Camden Town
London, NW1 8AJ
0207 267 6613
CocoBamboo a rural family restaurant on a exotic island between South America and the Caribbean, yet right in the centre of Camden.

After being stared at for a very awkward 30 seconds by the bar tender, we informed him that we were here to eat. ‘Coco Bamboo - Bar and Restaurant right?’

The Writings On The Wall

Chicken Shop
79 Highgate Road
London
NW5 1TL
Not the usual stop off for WordOfMouthLDN, but a certainly a pleasant surprise.
The name immediately rang alarm bells for Jamelia who is a committed pescatarian, but it was the persistence of a close friend of ours that drew us to this discrete spot on Highgate Road for a cheeky dessert before making our way to a show at The Forum. Jamelia ordered the Apple Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream, whilst Candace opted for the Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream - as you may have noticed lent hasn't gone exactly to plan for us!
