I'm not fussy, I'm just Pesci

Prawn & Chili Linguine, Garlic & Rocket
Granger & Co.
Clerkenwell

By my final year of uni I had officially had enough; with the stress from exams loading up I had grown tired of doctors prescribing steroid creams with ambiguous side effects, I decided that it was time I worked from the inside out and researched the best diet to heal my skin.

So while I'd love to confess that I gave up meat to combat animal cruelty, deforestation caused by the need for more space to house livestock or some other nobel ethical reason. Unfortunately my initial reason for adopting a pescetarian (also called pesco-vegetarian diet) was what some would consider to be pretty shallow - purely for aesthetic reasons.

I have been a victim of eczema from birth - yes victim because it is a seriously irritating dry skin condition which like a bad smell continues to come back with a vengeance - until I changed my diet.

The Only Way is Essex

CATCH Restaurant

147 Queen's Rd,
Buckhurst Hill

With a girly catch up dinner well overdue, we made reservations at a new spot in Essex we had heard a great deal about - CATCH.

Catch Ups and Cocktails in The City...

Boundary
2-4 Boundary Street
London
E2 7DD
So for this post we thought we would switch it up a bit… Let us know what you think….

To enjoy the beautiful weather Jamelia took the time to catch up with two very talented ladies and the restaurant was just too good to keep to themselves...

So peek what Jamelia, Abena AND Vanessa had to say about 'Boundary Rooftop'.

Its The Simple Things….

Simply Fish
Shoreditch Boxpark, Units 42-43
2-4 Bethnal Green Rd. E1 6JU
020 7613 4440
Located above the infamous Boxpark in Shoreditch, the options at this restaurant were plentiful; from the option to dine inside or outside (if the sun ever really decides to come out), to have your fish pan fried, grilled, deep fried, or baked. What's life without choices?

Greeted and seated immediately, Simply Fish is a small enclosed roof top restaurant has a fresh, sea breeze feel, with light décor and soft lighting resembling almost a beach hut. A great contrast from last weeks trip to ChickenShop . Similarly though, Simply Fish has an open kitchen to which we sat next to.

Rhythm Kictchen
206 The Balcony
Westfield Stratford
London E20 1ES

For this weeks pick, we decided to visit another continent and take on Rhythm Kitchen.

Hidden at the back of the Food Court at Stratford Westfield, we often bypass it this place, dubious of the food served. Caribbean food has many variations based on where in the Caribbean the food is cooked however; us Island girls thought we’d go for a bite anyway. As we approached Rhythm Kitchen and looked at the menu, it was full of tasty options, great meal deals and Caribbean favourites. Not that we are particularly fussy eaters but one of our hesitation reasons lie in rice and peas. This classic, for us, can be ruined by long grain rice instead of basmati.
