Middle Eastern Europe

Hakkasan Hanway

Looking back over our foodie experiences; spending our 1st birthday at Hakkasan was definitely a highlight so we were delighted to be invited back to celebrate the launch of their new opening in Greece.

The press launch event was held at Hakkasan Hanway and presented all guests with signature Hakkasan Dim Sum dishes, which would be featured on their ‘Ling Ling Menu’.

The idea of the Ling Ling menu is to introduce guests to a less formal Hakkasan dining experience, but one that didn’t compromise in ambience and food quality. The menu is inspired by the Izakaya concept, which encourages more casual dining atmosphere and still maintains the feeling of the orient.

Hakkasan had sectioned off an area of the restaurant for attendees to dine and drink in. Friendly and immaculately dressed waiting staff served an array of Dim Sum dishes. Initially, I was sceptical of how full I’d be by the end of the evening, so I had already made plans to eat elsewhere afterwards – LOL! But the plates just kept coming!

Mostly seafood specialities (aka our favourite) alongside champagne, wines, cocktails and macaroons – I really was spoilt for choice!

The new opening located in Mykonnos, Grecce, the locals have really received this new cuisine with open arms as it infiltrates the Cantonese Middle Eastern dishes into Europe using their national fresh produce.

Hakkasan does offer the menu at both London locations, and whether it be for an early dinner before a West End show or a spontaneous dinner date, this menu really encapsulates the essence of Hakkasan.

Verdict? CHEWS
